Cornish Dance:Tregajorran Furry

This dance was written by Hilary Coleman in 1999 and the tune by Neil Davey (founder members of Dalla ). As well as continuing to celebrate the Tregajorran show this dance enjoys popularity as a ceili dance:

"We created Treggy furry especially for our first ever Tregajorran village show ten years ago, and it has been danced at the event every September since! The inspiration comes from other furry dances and tunes in the tradition. Also, like most places - there used to be an annual tea treat in Tregajorran - so that was another reason we wanted to re-instate some sort of community event and procession."
